| Russian M91/59s were made during the cold war by cutting down M91/30 rifles (usually) to carbine length, then put away for the war than never came. Some may have small arsenal wood repairs (only mentioned if large), show some old scars from before rearsenal, or a recent/small handling ding. Some receivers/barrels may be of the less polished war-time manufacture. All have been nicely arsenal refinished with a deep blue metal finish and smooth, solid wood stocks. An M91/59 looks similar to the Russian M38. | |

Russian Mosin Nagant M91/59. Serial # RN5970. {7.62x54} 1943 Izhevsk arsenal. Wood is in VG+ condition. Metal finish 99%. Stamped matching numbers on the barrel shank, bolt, mag, and buttplate. Serial number/import stamp on receiver is the Century dot matrix, but not the very large one. Has cleaning rod. Bore has G+ lands, debris in grooves $150     PHOTO |
