SIMSON & Co. SUHL side by side shotgun. Serial # 33109. {12ga}. 2 3/4" chambers. Hammerless, top lever action. Date of manufacture May, 1931. Wood is in VG to VG+ (closer to VG+) condition, walnut, with a raised cheek piece. Is medium to dark in shade with medium to high contrast grain. LOP is 13 1/4" for the front trigger and 12 1/4" on rear trigger. Chip at toe of buttstock and a 1" stable looking hairline crack behind the receiver on the right side. The action has 35% finish, with lots "old world" scrolling and etching. Metal finish on barrels is 95%. Matching stamped numbers on the receiver, barrel, and handguard. Has double triggers, extractors, cross bolt/rib extension, and front/rear sling swivels. Steel barrels are 30" long. Choke measures full on right barrel and full on left barrel with my field choke gauge. Tight on face (barrels don't wiggle at all when locked up). Bore is bright and shiny with no dents. There is some very shallow and minor pitting in front of both chambers. $475     PHOTO
